Holiday Cheer Coming to Willow Creek Winery

Every season is beautiful at Willow Creek Winery & Farm, but the holidays bring out a little extra sparkle. From our gorgeously decorated facilities, to seasonal treats, and traditional holiday outdoor markets there is something for everyone at Willow Creek.

You will be able to get in the holiday spirit the week of November 18th as our facility transforms into a Winter Wonderland by Saturday, November 22.

This year, our popular Holiday Sip & Shops will be back – this time for 4 weekends in a row. Each weekend will feature something special from Seasonal Willow Whips, food specials, and a variety of vendors at the Open Air Artisan Market. See the schedule below. NJFC and WCW Challenge NJDEP

Willow Creek Winery supports and joins its affiliate, the NJ Farmers Cooperative (NJFC), in challenging the NJDEP Flood Zone Proposal and well water meter mandates.

The NJFC recently released a statement that it is “actively protesting the proposal, claiming it threatens to compromise the livelihoods of the state’s agricultural communities and local businesses. NJ Farmers Cooperative believes the flood zone proposal, which would require property owners to raise their constructions 5 feet above existing federal flood elevation levels, is rooted in unfounded data and represents an overreach of governmental authority.” Adding, “The flood zone proposal is just the proverbial tip of the iceberg, and residents may soon find themselves required to install meters on their water wells. Since January 2024, Willow Creek Winery also has been inundated with requests from NJDEP to install water meters and register for allocations related to farm irrigation and restaurant operations.” Read the entire statement HERE.

Special Events for a Great Month Ahead

Cape May is so much more than a beach town as you can tell by all the fun events and activities here on the island after Labor Day weekend. Some might say we’re even busier now! Willow Creek Winery has some amazing events lined up for all our fall visitors.

Veterans Weekend Celebration
Saturday, November 9 – Monday, November 11
Willow Creek Winery and the NJ Farmers Cooperative will be hosting a weekend long celebration that includes an open-air artisan market and food and drink specials.
15% food discount for active and retired military persons with a valid ID through the weekend.

Holiday Sip & Shop
Saturday, November 30 – December 1
The first of 4 Sip & Shops will start right after Thanksgiving to help you tackle your holiday shopping list. “Sleigh the Holidays” will feature local area artisans and vendors in our open air market. Shop through the vines will enjoying seasonal treats.

Vendor Applications Open – Holiday Sip & Shops

Are you a local artisan looking to share your amazing business with shoppers in Cape May County?

Willow Creek Winery’s ever popular Holiday Sip & Shop vendor applications are now open. This year, due to the increasing popularity (and fun) of the annual event, Willow Creek has expanded the open air markets to 4 weekends from Thanksgiving until Christmas! Each weekend includes its own special theme:
Saturday, November 30 – Sunday, December 1: “Sleigh the Holidays”
Saturday, December 7 – Sunday, December 8: “Christmas in Cape May”
Friday, December 13 – Sunday, December 15: “Holiday Traditions” (Annual 3-day weekend celebration)
Saturday, December 21 – Sunday, December 22: “Merry & Bright Holiday”

If you are a vendor and would like to participate in any/all of the events fill our HOLIDAY SIP & SHOP APPLICATION and submit it to Willow Creek Winery by Friday, November 15.

There are still a few vendor spaces available for the Veterans Weekend Celebration market on Saturday, November 9 – Monday, November 11, co-hosted by the NJ Farmers Cooperative.

Hunter’s Moon Festival at Willow Creek: Oct 12 – 14

Columbus Day weekend the NJ Farmers Cooperative is co-hosting the first annual Hunter’s Moon Weekend at Willow Creek Winery in Cape May, NJ.

This fall festival held on Saturday, October 12 – Monday, October 14 will include an open-air artisan market – perfect to feel those fall vibes and get a jump on your holiday shopping with Cape May-area vendors, food and drink specials, live music and lots of fall fun!

Live Music Schedule:
Saturday, October 12 from 2 – 6pm with David Falcone
Sunday October 13 from 2 – 6pm with Gordon Vincent

Market Schedule 11:30am – 6pm Saturday, Sunday and Monday

In addition to our fall favorite wines, we will be featuring Yuengling Oktoberfest beer and Pumpkin Willow Whips (pumpkin flavored, wine-infused non-dairy soft serve over sangria) and our special Oktober Whip, Pumpkin Willow Whip served over the Oktoberfest beer.

Lots of Live Music for Locals’ Summer

Summertime down at the Jersey Shore is amazing, and we have had one for the books this season. Thank you for all who have visited Willow Creek Winery this summer.

Now, since we’re all friends here we are going to let you in on a little secret — September might be the best month in Cape May. Us locals enjoy this month as our “summer” (don’t forget technically summer lasts until September 21), and we are keeping the good vibes good at the winery with live music through the end of the month.

We have a great line-up of performers in September:

Performances are on the Vineyard Bar patio (weather permitting) where seating is first come first serve.

For the month of September we will continue to offer lunch and dinner daily in our Tasting Room to pair with our wines, and our Vineyard Bar will be open from Thursdays – Sundays. Please keep an eye on our socials as it’s also wedding season and we have private events on some weekends that require us to close early (early closures are 4pm, with last seatings at 2:15pm). Willow Creek Winery is the Place for Makers this Fall

Artisans, Creators, Vendors (and those who love to shop them) – this fall Willow Creek Winery in Cape May, NJ will be hosting a variety of open air artisan markets to showcase local vendors and help area residents and visitors alike shop local through the holiday season.

The first market will be in October (arguably the most beautiful season in Cape May), running from Saturday, October 12 through Monday, October 14. Themed the Hunter’s Moon Weekend, this event, co-hosted by the NJ Farmers Cooperative (NJFC, a non-profit organization whose mission is to help NJ farmers, artists, and artisans survive and thrive through shared use of resources, education, and cooperative marketing), will kick off the fall harvest vibes at Willow Creek.

Veterans Day weekend Willow Creek Winery will hold a Veterans Weekend Celebration at the second market of the season co-hosted with the NJFC from Saturday, November 9 – Monday, November 11.

Willow Creek Winery’s popular holiday Sip & Shop markets will run for 4 weekends in November and December this year, with a different theme each weekend:

Saturday, November 30 – Sunday, December 1: “Sleigh the Holidays”
Saturday, December 7 – Sunday, December 8: “Christmas in Cape May”
