We work with couples across the range of wedding sizes, from intimate gatherings to celebrations of 350. Couples who choose the smaller end tell us the most common reason is the same: they wanted the day to feel like them. Unhurried, warm, and genuinely beautiful. On 50 acres of vineyard in West Cape May, that is easier to pull off than you might expect.

Building a Day That Feels Effortless

A micro wedding works best when the setting carries the atmosphere. Vine rows, lush gardens, a brick patio, and a Tasting Room with a stone fireplace do a lot of the work before a single flower arrangement arrives.

Where Your Ceremony Happens

Two ceremony spaces work especially well for smaller guest counts. The Winemaker’s Patio is a brick patio directly at Winemaker’s Hall, and its best quality is the flow it creates. When the ceremony ends, the celebration can continue with hors d’oeuvres and wine service in a setting that feels just right for the occasion. For many couples, the Vineyard Bar Patio is a favorite setting for that next part of the evening.

If you want the vineyard itself as your backdrop, the Estate Lawn sits at the front of the property with views across the vines. It creates a beautiful sense of arrival for the ceremony. From there, your team can help shape the rest of the celebration based on your guest count and wedding plans.

What Is Already Included

Your package includes floor-length ivory damask linens, wooden cross-back chairs, flatware, china, wine and water glasses, and 60-inch round tables seating up to 10. Cake cutting, a coffee and tea station, access to grounds for photos, and on-site parking are all included in the booking.

The Traditional Package covers 25 to 75 guests over four hours, with one displayed hors d’oeuvre, three butler-served hors d’oeuvres, a salad course, and a choice of two entrées plus one vegan option. The Cocktail-Style Package serves 25 to 100 guests over three hours with two displayed hors d’oeuvres and six butler-served options. Catering is handled entirely in-house. Your venue coordinator works with you from the start and can share an exclusive vendor list if you need help finding a photographer, florist, or entertainer.

Bar, Enhancements, and Photos

The bar is wine only in-house. Beer and liquor may be brought in from a designated New Jersey distributor. We provide the bartenders, and any remaining alcohol is secured for next-day pickup. A minimum wine purchase applies to weddings, and the events team can explain what that looks like for your guest count and package.

Optional enhancements such as a fire pit, sangria bar, champagne toast setup, or Gold Chiavari chair upgrade can be added depending on your package and guest count. What fits your day is worth discussing directly with the events team.

The grounds are included for photo sessions. Many couples work the life-sized Alice in Wonderland grass chessboard into their portraits. It photographs beautifully, and guests tend to gather around it naturally.

Staying on Property

On-site cottages are available for overnight stays, and they tend to book quickly during peak season, so it helps to reserve them early.

FAQs

When should we book our micro wedding at Willow Creek Winery? 

Popular dates can book quickly, especially during the busy season, so it is smart to start the conversation early. A second deposit is due approximately six months before the wedding, and the final balance is due 21 days out.

Can we bring in outside vendors for decor or entertainment? 

Outside catering is not permitted. For decor or entertainment, ask our events team what is possible for your wedding and who they recommend from our vendor list.

How are dietary restrictions and final guest counts handled? 

Your final headcount, each guest’s meal selection, and any food allergy information are due 28 days before the wedding. Children and vendor accommodations are available.

Is parking available on site for guests? 

Yes. On-site parking is included with your booking, so guests have a straightforward arrival without needing to arrange outside transportation or off-site lots.
